The Residence Club at Giant's Ridge : About Us: Journal

We arrived at the Residence Club mid-week for a 3-day vacation, along with another couple and their kids. Eight of us in all. Waiting to welcome us was the Concierge Couple who gave us a tour of the home and explained all the modern features. Immediately we were impressed and felt a pride of ownership in the development.

Walking through the home, it felt extremely spacious and you could tell it would easily accommodate the eight of us. In addition to the spacious layout, it was perfectly furnished and well-stocked with amenities. The kitchen in particular was professionally outfitted and ready for our personal use.

The views from the home were fantastic, especially of the lit ski hill at night. It was the first thing we noticed while relaxing in the living room the first night. Even with the tremendous views, you get a sense of privacy day or night due to the surrounding trees, well-placed windows, and the position of the home on the site.

For Minnesota skiing, Giants Ridge is a blast. It offers a nice variety of runs from beginner to technical, and excellent grooming. The kids also had a ball on the new tubing hill, spending hours on it until we dragged them off. We will be enjoying many of these quick winter get-aways in the years to come.

We are excited to come back with friends this summer to enjoy the golf courses, lakes, and bike trails. Giants Ridge has two of the best and most unique courses in the state, and combining a stay at the Residence Club with rounds of golf at the Legends and Quarry cannot be beat. Further, Sabin and Wynne Lakes are crystal clear, uncrowded, and perfect for kayaking, fishing, and swimming. Being able to walk our kayaks from the house to Sabin Lake will be a real bonus and an early morning ritual.

From the incredible views, to the quality craftsmanship, to the thoughtful furnishings, the Residence Club is a special place and it was difficult to leave. We can't wait to return."
